Building on this foundation, we are developing a series of fully online courses that offer flexibility to professionals and experts, enabling them to study anytime, anywhere, and at any stage of their life or career.

Course overview

These 150-hour courses are led by experts actively working in international organizations and diplomatic roles, offering unique insights into their fields. Tutoring for final report preparation will be conducted by these professionals or by academic members affiliated with the Institute, ensuring high-quality guidance throughout the program.

Course Details

  • Hours per Course: 100 hours delivered over 4 days per week (20 hours/week for 5 weeks) and offered in Spanish and English, with online classes.
  • Final Report: 30 hours. Written in Spanish, English, or French. The two best reports from each course will be published in the HRGH Newsletter.
  • Professional Development Workshop: 20 hours (optional).
  • Cost: To be determined.

Democracy and Human Rights

Human rights and democracy are deeply interconnected with democratic regimes. This course explores the roles of international organizations, states, and civil society in promoting and upholding these fundamental values.

Development and Human Rights

Rooted in international treaties and UN principles, development remains vital yet challenged by global inequalities like poverty, discrimination, and gender disparities. Conduct a critical analysis of the actions and approaches to development
taken by national cooperation agencies, United Nations agencies, and other
involved actors

Diplomacy in the 21st Century

This course is taught by professionals actively engaged in international diplomacy and provides tools for navigating international negotiations. Through practical exercises, including conflict negotiation and international dialogue simulations, participants will gain hands-on experience in global fórums.
